FAQs: Uni-Assist Application form; Free Tuition; Student Loan
Q: What document should I prepare
for uploading into uni-assist
A: Different universities, different courses request for
different documents.
As a result, the first advice would be to look into the
documents listed in the application requirements of the
course you want to apply to.
Additionally, you may see these videos:
Q: Please can I get the uni-assist
application page
A: When on the prospective university webpage,
most likely, a link to uni-assist will be found.
If this is not the case then an internet search on google,
bing or any other search platform
for uni-assist will help find the uni-assist webpage.
Q: Help for applying for free tuition
in Germany
A: Most of the universities in Germany offer free tuition.
However, every semester (6 months), there is a re-enrollment
charge called semester contribution that each student must
pay to be enrolled for the first time or re-enrolled each semester.
Apart from this semester contribution, there is no
tuition fee.
Although the semester contribution applies to about all
universities in Germany, a few universities in Germany
require a tuition fee payment. Most commonly, students
within one of the German states. Again this constitutes
only a few of the universities in Germany.
Having established this, to find universities in Germany
that offer free tuition, a search on the daad website using
filters will show these universities.
To further see how this can be done, please see
thisvideo.
The search process is step by step documented and shown
as it is being done on the daad website.
Q: Is it possible to apply for
financial loan while in South Africa
A: Two recommendations here.
A.Check the kfw website. This advice is premium because
things are updated regularly and to get the most up to date information
would be to visit the website directly. Simply do an internet
search of kfw student loan with google or bing or your favorite search engine
to get
website address and visit the faq section.
B.The next recommendation would be to send an email to the
Studentenwerk of your university asking them exactly this question.
They may not only answer this question but even give further advice.
Also, you may send an email to the international office of your
university.
Q: Help, I can’t put the name of the
school I studied at.
A: Usually, there is the option to “type in” the
name of the university if your university name is not in
the list. Alternatively, you may send an email to the admissions
office. Many times on the admissions page,
there is contact information to the admission office.
Q: After uploading the documents, must I courier my documents
to uni-assist before my application will be processed.
A: On many occasions, you have to send your documents to
uni-assist. However, on this, a case-by-case basis
may be better. In your application, is it required to
forward your documents? If it is required then do forward it.
To know if it is required, see the email you received
confirming that your application is submitted, see the
requirements for application, see the information on the webpage
after submitting your application.
